Can we predict the futuristic goals of The Autonomous car sector?

Tesla had already launched its Seld-Driving mode car "Model-3" which is generally known by AUTOPILOT MODE. which will be definitely gonna be more interesting as the only goal is to develop more comfort & artificial intelligent security. But the question still remains the same for all "What can we predict from self-driving cars in nearest future?" Can an autonomous car be truly safe in the world with the various driving condition and as more secured to human error? 


As per my opinion, it truly depends on the driving condition. suppose you are late for office and you have less time to reach office. OF COURSE! you could choose self-driving mode & spend some moments to relax your mood. And if it is weekend, then truly you will enjoy a long drive with Manual Driving mode with your family. yes, its truly depend on you. lot's of people like driving, and on the other way idea to give control of your car to an intelligent machine!  But this is only possible when the autonomous car manufactures shows green signals to safer Seld-Driving experiences to the public.

we can not forget the headlines from the past few years that up to 15% of new vehicles sold by 2030, it could be autonomous. as per the reply of  Hans-Werner Kaas, " obviously technology will remain the first question at all. Autonomous means more sensors, followed by a combination of multiple sensor technologies in one. but the technological barriers are still the same."

There is a solution called "Level four Driving". yes! currently manufactures are working on the same subject considering various on-road conditions.  The very first need is to set up roads in the way that can easily transmit data to hardware module & ensure that car is actually safe. To strike the balance between these two things technological improvement should be higher. on the other hand, the thing which matters to all customers about vehicle hardware. which means multiple sensors working capability, sufficient computer power within the car, advanced algorithms that detect pictures within the fraction of second and work on it. combining all the sensors, hardware modules and software solutions are they actually helpful in real traffic situation? That's the real technological challenge for manufacturers. But suppose you are on a highway, separated lanes, good weather, all good with traffic signals, it could be less complicated for AI machine to figure out an exact solution. which is only possible when the car is on a wide highway, Ex. Europe. but it cant be helpful to the small city with average road conditions. 

For a working autonomous vehicle, manufacturers should have a clear vision about emerging technologies that could be more helpful to sustain it against predicted errors. when its all about sensors, can camera-based sensor be still useful?  The main thing is to detect visual surrounding of the car in any conditions so the input will differ from light-based pictures to the ultrasonic pictures. so it could be really really difficult to combine all these input conditions and make a single algorithm.

still, we have some points that shouldn't be forgotten. When the whole point is about electrifician, it should be more efficient and sustainable with the environmental condition. second is Digitalization of connectivity. so it should be very large that can useful for one car to other, Wirelessly or wired. Third is advance driver assistance. It's the only thing that is too useful to move from driver operated car to driverless. so it could be more advanced with diverse of mobility that one can switch from one to other. It could be more attractive to the customers if they get a single variant for all seasons. Like you preferably choose SUV for winter, a convertible for summer and something other for another season. some of the manufacturers like Tesla, Google, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagon, Volvo, TATA, Scania, BMW, Delphi & GM are on the same thing to design a complete package that can fir in any season. and what else it could be, may be we all get to know about it in future.

Infiniti Q at The Detroit Auto Show 2018


Nissan's luxury car maker Infinity has just released a new Q Concept car at the Detroit automobiles show 2018.


There is something new Infinity has showed, a scoop style four doors and a long panoramic glass roof. The exterior design is quite impressive at first look with impressive curves on the body. A new aggressive sharpen nero brand new grill with narrow front lights put on the front side which look likes future styling electric car. Not only Nissan but the other car makers also are going with a creative way to develop their own EV with brand new features and quite impressive mileage with the single charge. The tornado lines of the infinity Q is just as impressive as interior.
The sharp edge of back with a newly designed of brake lights makes more stylish. The design will probably hit the infinity is concept 9 which was revealed last year. According to the Nissan it will come with allall-wheelive and a touchscreen mountain at the side of the door. the handles of the door have been removed to make quite impressive look from the side. At the front of the car dashboard has been replaced with numbers of  multifunctional touch screen Steering Wheel, which is equipped with all the functions of normal car. 

The power train is equipped with VC Turbo which is a globle developing Technology across the world. it may be also features Nissan new propilot semi autonomous car driving assistance. Soon they are looking forward for the production of concept q by 2019.

Tesla's model S: Secret unveiled: A brief technical inspection

We all know that how Tesla's Model S is being too popular among the people of US, Canada and other countries but still many people don't know the proper reason behind the technical reasons so we are now going to look deeply into Tesla's battery system, power drive, gearbox, extra usable space, Wheel Drive, Security and other extra features.

Here is the first thing that Tesla introduced The battery system, not by using a huge battery pack system but instead of it they use small battery cells in series and parallel which are quite too many to arrange it.



The main advantage of the small battery system is there is no extra loss of heat during the drive went to cells are in proper working condition. It is the mean this advantage of use battery system that heats up more when the battery is in full working condition.here Tesla introduced a new system to avoid extra heat from the battery back to install a coolant system between the path of series and parallel system.this may help a car system to remain cool during full working condition and to work efficiently for longer Time than forecasted. Both systems give same power but the small better system is too easy for handling and there are no further issues of heating anymore. 


The second thing is the power Drive approximately 100 years ago Nicola Tesla invented is AC power drive which is generally called synchronous motor.  to convert DC's power into AC there should be an inverter so Tesla introduced a combined power drive system which contains an inverter and a synchronous motor we all know that too very the speed of synchronous motor there should be a change in frequency of AC power. Which can easily be provided by inverter by the higher frequency of AC power they should be a higher rotation of output shaft of the synchronous motor not only because of this combined power drive system there is no need for gearbox system. The Accelerator is directly connected to inverter through a microchip which controls the frequency of AC power from the small battery pack system. 

In engine power-driven vehicles it is the main disadvantage that System cannot go further limit of RPM like 2000 to 4000 RPM. But in the case of the inverter and synchronous motor combined system we can go to 17 to 18000 rpm in short range of time. There is no gearbox so the friction loss is not their overall the total power can directly transmitted by the power system. 



so that it can be also helpful for overall efficiency when the weight of the car is too low when the gearbox and the engine are absent. In addition to that, we have more extra space for usability. 

The third one Tesla used simple open differential system instead of highly complicated slip differential system.  the main reason behind using open differential system is it can transmit more torque then slip differential system. The traction control problem can be controlled by selecting backing and cutting the power supply. Weather in IC Engine cutting the power supply is not too responsive to traction control problem.  In this system, the power supply rate is highly responsible for using controllers and algorithms.  They just replace the large complicated system with a smart software.

It used the single speed transmission system that transfers the power by two steps. It is much is here to reverse them. The vehicle by only changing the face of induction motor the RMF changes into opposite direction and as an output drive will rotate in reverse direction.
In addition, the regenerative braking system is too useful. it means that RGB saves the K.E. of the car into electricity. In such case the same induction motor works as a generator, here will drive is the induction motor and Powell stored back to the battery pack.

These are the main reason that Tesla's Model S is more efficient than any other IC engine powered vehicle.

It's New TOYOTA sienna with exotic design and wide horsepower



The initial design started this year with interesting features of Sienna with new 296-hp, 3.5 ltr, V-6 engine equipped with eight speed automatic transmission. This couod help sienna to get higher mpg at highways and in the city.
As per new design of Sienna fitted a new type nose, that makes outer look more exotic. With the more tornedo line gives  it more dynamic look. On the front side it provides larger grill openings. More than all these things Sienna comes with standard automatic emergency braking system.



Moreover on the side of  safety it is equipped with Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ABS And Driveline Traction Control,  Impact Beams, Dual Stage front And Passenger Seat-Mounted Side Airbags, Warning when Tire Pressure is Low,  Rear Child Safety.More on Toyota wants to be keen on push to make its safety suite standard. Unbelievable : Audi Confirmed to Re-develope BMW-i8 with next gen features

As per the news from Audi, they planning to develope BMW-i8 with new generation features which propalled by electric power, not only BMW-i8 but also two more cars will be re-develope by Audi.

Very few information known about these all models at current moment but Audi's chied executive informed during Geneva motor show that the electric cars will be lauch including electric SUV which will be similarly as Volkswagen.
It was a huge blast from BMW when they lauched BMW-i8 & now it is considered as a dark horse with electric propeled drive. But not there is no response from BMW about upgradation of BMW-i8. On the otherway some significant companies try to figure out re-develope The i8 which is compactible with next generation regenrative green energy models which can able to satisfy environment norms.

Yellow bird spotted : New 225 Mph-911 CTR with 700hp & carbon body structure

The CTR weighed 2535 pounds and had about 470 horsepower, making it one of the very quickest cars of its era. When Road & Track tested the car, it ran from zero to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds and from zero to 100 mph in 7.3 seconds on its way to an 11.7-second quarter-mile. It was possibly even better known for its oversteer-heavy handling, immortalized in the video “Fascination on the Nürburgring,” in which German tester Stefan Rosser wrestles it around the Nordschleife at huge speed and frequently ridiculous angles. Even today, when Nürburgring in-car video has become ubiquitous, it is genuinely thrilling.


Although the new CTR looks strikingly like a 964-generation 911, it isn’t a restomod in the manner of Singer’s products. Rather, it uses carbon-fiber body panels wrapped over a carbon-fiber monocoque and steel front and rear crash structures. There’s an integrated roll cage, and the car features a control-arm suspension at each corner with pushrod-operated coil-over dampers. It’s powered by a 700-hp twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter version of Porsche’s long-serving Mezger engine. That’s right; this is what appears to be a classic 911 that uses a water-cooled flat-six. The engine directs this serious output, as well as 649 lb-ft of torque, to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential.



the new CTR’s lightweight body helps it ring in at 2640 pounds. We’re also told it is even faster than its predecessor, accelerating from zero to 62 mph in less than 3.5 seconds and from zero to 124 mph in less than nine seconds. It also boasts a 225-mph top speed. Only 30 cars with the manual gearbox will be built (a version with a dual-clutch automatic transmission will follow) at a price of about $795,000 at current exchange rates. That’s high even by the increasingly surreal standards of vintage 911 values—although the original CTR cost a sizable $223,000 back in 1987. It certainly hasn’t put off buyers, with Alois Ruf saying that 10 have already been sold.

2018 Jaguar F-Pace: A New Turbo Four and a Portfolio : The beast

For those with bigger budgets who wish the F-Pace smelled more like a Range Rover, there’s the also-new-for-2018 Portfolio trim level. The softer, extra-pleated Windsor leather seats with 22-way adjustment and winged headrests are exclusive to the Portfolio, which only comes with the F-Pace’s 340-hp V-6. Otherwise, the Portfolio is a Prestige loaded up with three option packages, head-up display, gloss ebony veneer, and 20-inch wheels. Jaguar expects a limited showing, as it’s only offered in Yulong White with Sienna Tan upholstery and, at $64,195 to start, is now the most expensive F-Pace in the lineup, topping even the more powerful F-Pace S.





With a twin-scroll turbocharger, variable valve timing and lift, a new direct fuel-injection system, and an exhaust manifold integrated with the cylinder head, the Ingenium engine is claimed to return greater efficiency and faster warmups. (EPA fuel economy estimates for the F-Pace equipped with the new engine are forthcoming.)



The turbo four’s 247 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque are up 7 horsepower and 18 lb-ft over the now defunct Ford engine, and Jaguar claims it can punt the F-Pace to 60 mph in 6.4 seconds. For reference, the last F-Pace S we tested was a six-cylinder, 380-hp S, and it did that deed in 5.1 seconds; we’ve yet to test the 180-hp diesel or a non-S V-6 model. We’ll confirm Jag’s numbers in our own testing, but the four-cylinder’s performance is probably peachy for Jaguar buyers who prefer discounts over power.

 Ferrari 812 Superfast Claims 211 MPH, Even More Insane V-12 Power



For its 70th birthday, Ferrari is once again resurrecting the Superfast name, first seen on the 4.9 Superfast that was the quickest car we tested in the 1950s. Then as now, Ferrari’s most powerful 12-cylinder engine resides in this new 812 Superfast, a hairier evolution of the extreme F12tdf introduced for 2016.
Ferrari bored out its naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V-12 to 6.5 liters and fitted a new 5076-psi direct-injection system for just shy of 800 horsepower (the 8 in the name is a reference to the car’s 800 metric horsepower)—call it 789 in American.


He intake tracts to maximize airflow, the new V-12 achieves that lofty power output at 8500 rpm, along with 530 lb-ft of torque at 7000 rpm. That equals the LaFerrari’s power and bests its 516 lb-ft. It also beats the F12tdf’s 769 ponies and 520 lb-ft. Lest a turbocharged 488GTB enter the debate, a full 80 percent of the Superfast’s torque is available at 3500 rpm. Ferrari claims a zero-to-62-mph time of 2.9 seconds, a top speed of 211 mph, and upon request will cite more figures no other front-engined production car could hope to match.

Honda Shows Off an Acura NSX–Inspired Outboard Motor



Honda, of course, doesn’t just make automobiles and motorcycles. Need a lawnmower? Soichiro’s crew has you covered. How about a snowblower? Ditto. That mill for your go-fast boat? But of course! In the spirit of unifying its disparate product lines, Honda has ginned up an outboard with a design inspired by the Acura NSX, set to go on display at the Miami International Boat Show. Because of course Honda did.

Called—inventively—the Honda Marine Concept Engine, the flashy outboard draws its Nouvelle Blue Pearl paint straight from the NSX’s palette, and Honda would like you to note that the heat ducts’ black honeycomb mesh also hints at the hybrid supercar. The “floating winged blade” also pulls its inspiration from Honda’s halo car, and the company says the radical new design points to “a bolder, more distinctive future for Honda Marine.” Whatever the ultimate fate of this design language in the waterborne realm, it’s certainly a far cry from Dad’s old pull-start Evinrude. In fact, it looks a little like some sort of protocol droid with rage issues. An Evil ASIMO, perhaps?


Wild Revealed : Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Off-Roader Priced from $40,995



he 2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 may be smaller and less powerful than the half-ton Ford F-150 Raptor, but these facts are unlikely to deter consumers (and automotive publications) from thinking together about the two off-road-oriented pickups. Priced at $40,995, the Colorado ZR2 undercuts the hulking Raptor’s base price by $9160. Those more interested in an apples-to-apples comparison can pit the ZR2 against the $41,930 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro instead.

Like the Tacoma TRD Pro, the ZR2 relies on underhood hardware from lesser lineup mates. A 308-hp 3.6-liter V-6 engine is standard fare, while a 186-hp 2.8-liter turbocharged diesel four-cylinder engine is optional. Additional add-ons include a premium sound system, a sweet bed-mounted spare-tire carrier, and a full-length vinyl floor in place of the standard carpet that can be added at no cost.

Electric vehicles like the ones Lightning Motorcycles produces need to go farther on a single charge if they want to become a more dependable option for drivers.

Each year, as people work to become less dependent on fossil fuels, the number of all-electric vehicles increases. However, limited range prevents electric vehicles from completely replacing gas-powered ones. Richard Hatfield, head of Lightning Motorcycles, wants to change everything by creating the first all-electric motorcycle that can travel 500 miles on a single charge.

Lightning Motorcycles built its first electric sport bike in 2006 and has been breaking records since. Three years after its first bike, the company broke the world land-speed record for an electric-powered bike. In 2013, the company won Pikes Peak, a 12-mile race climbing almost 5,000 feet. Completing the 500-mile drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles in a single charge is the next record Lightning has in its sights.

Currently, Tesla holds the record for the longest electric vehicle range among commercially available motorcycles and cars. At an Environmental protection Agency rating of 315 miles, Tesla wouldn’t be able to make the drive. Even a gasoline bike maxes out around 320 miles in one tank. Still, Hatfield has faith. “We see ourselves as following in the footsteps of Tesla, and accomplishing the San Francisco-to-Los Angeles run would show that range anxiety is becoming a thing of the past,”

To help him get there, Hatfield turned to the Battery Innovation Center in Indiana. This nonprofit works with industry leaders, universities, and government agencies to quickly develop, test, and commercialize batteries. In order to make it to the market, batteries need to be safe, reliable, and lightweight. “We work with companies like Lightning to pair them with cutting-edge energy storage makers to make things like the 500-mile ride possible,” said David Roberts, the company’s president. “We think that with the technology as it stands, right now, the ride is entirely achievable.”

Getting batteries to that point will not be easy, but it’s necessary if vehicles continue looking for greener power sources.

Hyundai may buy Chinese batteries amid political tension

Hyundai Motor Co. said Wednesday that it may buy batteries from Chinese companies for a planned China plug-in hybrid after South Korean battery makers failed to make a list of approved vendors last year.

The decision comes amid growing concern in South Korea that Beijing may be retaliating over Seoul's decision to deploy a U.S. anti-missile system. China argues the defense system could undermine its security.

Hyundai to enter China's luxury market with Genesis brand

Hyundai Motor Co. will launch its stand-alone Genesis luxury brand in China within two to three years, as the Korean automaker tries to compensate for thin profits in China's mass-market segments.


Rolling out Genesis in key markets such as China marks a shift for a company, which lacks the brand cachet and tradition of Germany's BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi. Those brands dominate the luxury market globally and in China.

Hyundai Motor said it was considering a Chinese battery for a plug-in hybrid version of its Sonata sedan to be sold in China.

Mercedes sales soar in January


Mercedes-Benz deliveries in China soared 39 percent to 58,799 vehicles in January on strong sales of its long-wheelbase sedans.

The German automaker said its top-selling models in China were the stretched C- and E-class sedans and the GLC compact crossover.

Mercedes, the No. 3 luxury brand in China, has been gaining market share at the expense of rivals Audi AG -- China's top luxury brand -- and No. 2 BMW.

Nissan venture fined for EV subsidy fraud

Nissan Motor Co. became the first foreign automaker punished by Chinese regulators for selling substandard electric vehicles to obtain government subsidies.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology revoked Zhengzhou Nissan's production permits for three models equipped with electric motors and batteries from uncertified suppliers.

The ministry also temporarily suspended the company's eligibility for EV subsidies.

Zhengzhou Nissan is a joint venture between Nissan Motor Co. and Dongfeng Motor Co.

GM to launch 18 new, redesigned models in China this year

 General Motors says it will launch 18 new and redesigned models in China in 2017, with a heavy emphasis on the fast-growing crossover market.

According to GM, half the models will be SUVs or multipurpose vehicles for GM's China brands, which include Buick, Chevrolet, Cadillac, Baojun and Wuling.

The new models will help GM keep pace with Volkswagen AG, which plans to introduce 10 new crossovers and SUVs in China by 2020. Last year, GM's Chinese joint ventures sold 3.87 million vehicles, while Volkswagen's partnerships sold 3.98 million.

Hydrogen Powered vehicles

The working of Hydrogen generator is just upon electrolysis process. when water is passed through reverse osmosis ( RO ) process it cleans all the germs to make it more purify. But still some needed for the good conductor of electricity. even after some still remains in pure water, they can't removed by simple process.
 
On the practical  basis we can't store hydrogen gas in dry & hot area for long time. As we all know that is highly explosive all the time so, be aware of it. On the other hand there are some safety steps for preventing hydrogen leakage. With the use of simple iron ROAD the electrolysis is done. There are few steps that you can made it at home. The more numbers of plates t
here more effectively electrolysis happened. So bring any rectangular pieces of steel Or iron. make holes at each corner and rivet them with plastic seals & long bolt. Make sure it is tight with right nut.

now, joint two wires to in two corners & connect terminals to the battery. With a proper vessel pour it with water. Joint the wire ends with  batteries 2V, 6V or 12V. all work best. Some videos also there for homemade HHO generator which is economic & best.

Put Hydrogen gas pipe into inlet manifold so when acceleration is given some part of hydrogen gas is directly given from HHO generator chamber. So, directly hydrogen gas is fed into cylinder chamber & it uses hydrogen gas as fuel into vehicle. This all mechanism doesn't require any big space for fit. Just a bit small space which is usually  found on any vehicle even in bikes also.

Types of control switches used in Automobile


Introduction:

There are three basic types of control switches. These are low, dual and high pressure switches. Pressure sensors and Trinary switch are also used.

Pressure switching devices : 

Low pressure switch   


Reacts to the pressure in the low side (suction side) of the system, generally the accumulator and disengages the compressor clutch if the pressure drops below approximately 1.5 bar.On an FOV system the low pressure switch and cycling switch are often the same device.

Dual pressure – high pressure switch and condenser fan switch


Two pressure-sensitive switches are contained in the high pressure switch. One of these switches acts as a safety switch to prevent excessive system pressure.The second switch switches the condenser auxiliary fan on to its second setting at approximately 20.7 bar and off again at 17.2 bar.This switching process improves the performance of the system in cases of excessive heat.

High pressure switch

A single normally closed pressure switch de-energises the compressor if excessive high pressure exists within the A/C system, approximately 30–35 bar. The switch is normally positioned in the high side of the system.

Trinary switch       

Three pressure sensitive switches are integrated into a trinary switch. A low pressure switch which creates an open circuit thus removing the current flowing to the compressor if the system pressure drops below approximately 1.4 bar. This could be caused by a refrigerant leak or natural discharge over a number of years.A high pressure switch operates at a pressure of approximately 30 bar which again removes the A/C compressor’s current in the event of a system blockage anywhere in the system.The third switch is used for high speed operation of the condenser fan aiding the removal of heat. This operates at approximately 18 bar. The switch is positioned on the high pressure side on TXV controlled systems.If FOV is used then a cycling switch is incorporated into the low side with a dual pressure switch on the high side. Modern A/C systems are replacing switches with a single pressure sensor.

 Pressure sensors   


The pressure sensor contains two metal plated ceramic discs mounted in close proximity. The disc located closest to the pressure connection is thinner and bends when subjected to pressure.By this means, capacitance between the metal plating of the discs is changed based on the pressure. A circuit integrated in the sensor converts the capacitance to an analogue voltage.

Different types of starting motors used in Automobiles

Introduction:         

This system uses a brake fluid (Preferably ethylene glycol) to transfer the pressure applied by the operator from the controlling unit to the actual brake mechanism, which is usually at or near the wheel of the vehicle. Most vehicles in India prefer to have drum brakes on rear wheels while disk brakes on the front wheels attached to the hydraulic controlling unit.

In order to produce the combustible mixture, Compression stroke and a form of ignition the minimum starting speed must be achieved. This is where the electric starter comes in. It is not possible to view the starter as an isolated component within the vehicle electrical system. The battery in particular is of prime importance. Another particularly important consideration in relation to engine starting requirements is the starting limit temperature. As temperature decreases, starter torque also decreases and the torque required cranking the engine to its minimum speed increases.

TYPES OF STARTER MOTORS:

Inertia starters   

            In all standard motor vehicle applications it is necessary to connect the starter to the engine ring gear only during the starting phase
  • The inertia type of starter motor is a four-pole, four-brush machine and is used on small to medium-sized petrol engine vehicles
  • It is capable of producing 9.6 Nm with a current draw of 350 A.
  • It has a face-type commutator and axially aligned brush gear. 
  • The fields are wave wound and are earthed to the starter yoke.
  • The starter engages with the flywheel ring gear by means of a small pinion.


Working:

  • When the starter is operated, via a remote relay, the armature will cause the sleeve to rotate inside the pinion.
  • The pinion remains still due to its inertia and, because of the screwed sleeve rotating inside it; the pinion is moved to mesh with the ring gear.
  • When the engine fires and runs under its own power, the pinion is driven faster than the armature shaft. This causes the pinion to be screwed back along the sleeve and out of engagement with the flywheel.
  • In some applications the pinion tends to fall out of mesh when cranking due to the engine almost, but not quite, running.

Pre-engaged starters

  • Pre-engaged starters are fitted to the majority of vehicles in use today.
  • They provide a positive engagement with the ring gear, as full power is not applied until the pinion is fully in mesh.
  • They prevent premature ejection as the pinion is held into mesh by the action of a solenoid.
  • A one-way clutch is incorporated into the pinion to prevent the starter motor being driven by the engine.

Permanent magnet starters

  • The principle of operation is similar in most respects to the conventional pre-engaged starter motor.
  • The main difference is the replacement of field windings and pole shoes with high quality permanent magnets.
  • The reduction in weight is in the region of 15% and the diameter of the yoke can be reduced by a similar factor.
  • Permanent magnets provide constant excitation and it would be reasonable to expect the speed and torque characteristic to be constant.
  • However, due to the fall in battery voltage under load and the low resistance of the armature windings, the characteristic is comparable to series wound motors.

Heavy vehicle starters

            The types of starter that are available for heavy duty applications are many and are different as the applications they serve.
  • In general, higher voltages are used, which may be up to 110 V, and two starters may even run in parallel for very high power and torque requirements.
  • Large road vehicles are normally 24 V and employ a wide range of starters. In some cases the design is simply a large and heavy duty version of the pre-engaged type.
